Deidre Sharp
I am Deidre. I am a story teller, horse and human teacher and founder of a non-profit horse rescue and sanctuary in Saunderstown, RI called Horse Play. My life is full of adventures! I grew up between Virginia and St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. I have always had horses in my life but I've also been a ballet dancer and a yacht captain. Now, living on land, my focus is on horses - keeping them naturally, educating folks on horse care and humane training, helping unwanted, neglected and abused horses and animal cruelty. I also grow herbs, flowers and compost the horse manure with worms, which we sell to help support the rescue. I am Native American and believe all life is sacred. And less seriously, I love rock-n-roll, still sail when I get the time and dance often. Peace all ways.
